Jewish Autonomous Region  £20
GOVERNOR OF THE JEWISH AUTONOMOUS REGION,
CHAIR OF THE GOVERNMENT
OF THE JEWISH AUTONOMOUS REGION
VII Far Eastern Federal District
In spite of its relatively small area, the Jewish Autonomous Region is potentially interesting to Russian and foreign partners for trading, economic,
and investment cooperation due to its advantageous geographic location
at the Chinese border and its convenient transport links.

The Region sees its main economic development prospects in cultivation
and processing of soy and other crops in the agroindustrial sector.

Our Region’s subsoil is rich in a variety of minerals, including manganese,
iron ore, tin, brucite, magnesite, lignite, and others.

The authorities of the Jewish Autonomous Region are committed to creating
favorable conditions for investment. The Region’s laws provide considerable
privileges to investors implementing large-scale projects. We are also developing other economic incentives for investors. For instance, special investment credits to cover interest on bank loans are provided.

I hope that potential investors will find the information given here of interest.
